Nothing Phone 4b Expected to Debut With 6000mAh Battery Ahead of India Launch Next Week

Nothing is set to unveil the Phone 4b in India on July 7 with expected Snapdragon chipset AMOLED display large battery upgraded cameras and Flipkart availability for buyers nationwide.

Nothing is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Nothing Phone 4b, which is scheduled to debut on July 7. Ahead of the official announcement, the company has been teasing key design elements and hardware features, while several leaks have revealed additional details about the upcoming device.

According to recent leaks, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to feature a massive 6000mAh battery, making it one of the biggest battery upgrades in the brand’s smartphone portfolio. The larger battery is likely to appeal to users looking for extended screen time and longer daily usage without frequent charging.

The smartphone is also expected to sport a 6.7 inch Flexible AMOLED display, offering vibrant visuals and smooth performance. Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is likely to run Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1 out of the box.

Photography is expected to remain a key focus for the new model. Leaks suggest the Nothing Phone 4b may include a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50 megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization and an 8 megapixel secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, the handset could offer a 16 megapixel front facing camera.

A leaked set of images shared by tipster Almighty Tech on the social media platform X suggests the Phone 4b may arrive in White, Purple, and Black color options. Earlier teasers from the company had hinted at a Blue variant, indicating multiple color choices could be available at launch.

Nothing has already confirmed that the Phone 4b will be introduced in India on July 7. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart following its official unveiling. Pricing and complete specifications are expected to be announced during the launch event.

The upcoming model follows the launch of the Nothing Phone 4a, which debuted in India earlier this year. The Phone 4a features a 6.78 inch LTPS Flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 4500 nits, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It also offers a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 50 megapixel periscope lens, and an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera, along with a 32 megapixel selfie camera.

The Phone 4a is powered by a 5400mAh battery with support for 50W wired fast charging and introduced the new Glyph Bar interface. With the Phone 4b expected to bring a larger battery and refreshed hardware, Nothing appears to be targeting users seeking strong everyday performance and extended battery life in the midrange smartphone segment.
