Mahindra BE 6 Electric SUV Wins Attention With Long Range and Premium Features

The growing popularity of electric vehicles in India is reshaping the automobile market. Buyers who once preferred petrol and diesel models are now turning toward EVs for their lower running costs, advanced technology and longer driving range. The trend is not limited to everyday customers, as celebrities are also embracing electric mobility. Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep has now added the Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV to his garage by choosing the fully loaded Pack 3 variant.

Built on Mahindra’s dedicated electric vehicle platform, the BE 6 has quickly become one of the company’s most talked about premium electric SUVs. Its futuristic design, modern technology and performance have helped it attract significant attention since its launch.

The exterior gives the SUV a distinctive road presence. The front features sleek LED daytime running lights, sharp LED headlamps and a closed grille that highlights its electric identity. A sporty bumper, large alloy wheels, flush door handles and a coupe inspired roofline further enhance its premium appearance and make it stand out from conventional SUVs.

Inside, the cabin is designed with a strong focus on technology and comfort. A dual screen layout welcomes occupants, pairing a large touchscreen infotainment system with a fully digital instrument cluster. The dashboard follows a driver oriented design, while premium quality materials throughout the cabin create a refined and comfortable driving experience.

Mahindra has equipped the BE 6 with several features usually found in luxury vehicles. It includes wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, a panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, multi color ambient lighting, a premium audio system, connected car technology and a 360 degree camera to enhance convenience and entertainment.

Safety is another major highlight of the electric SUV. The BE 6 comes with seven airbags, electronic stability control, disc brakes, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a 360 degree camera. It also offers Level 2 ADAS with features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring, providing additional confidence on the road.

The Mahindra BE 6 is available with two battery options, a 59 kWh pack and a larger 79 kWh pack. The top version produces 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, sending power to the rear wheels. Mahindra claims the 79 kWh model can deliver a driving range of up to 682 km on a full charge, while the 59 kWh version offers a claimed range of 656 km.

The Mahindra BE 6 is priced from Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 28.49 lakh ex showroom, making it a competitive option for buyers looking for a premium electric SUV that combines style, technology, safety and long distance capability.
