Honda QC3 Electric Scooter Expected to Deliver Up to 154 Km Range With Premium Features

Honda is expected to expand its electric two wheeler portfolio in India with the upcoming QC3 electric scooter, a model that is likely to become the brand’s most premium offering in the segment. Designed with a larger battery, extended riding range, and advanced connected features, the QC3 is expected to target customers looking for a practical yet feature rich electric scooter.

The biggest attraction of the Honda QC3 is expected to be its impressive riding range. The scooter is likely to be powered by a 3 kWh lithium ion battery pack that can deliver an IDC certified range of approximately 145 km to 154 km on a single charge. If these figures are confirmed, the QC3 will offer the longest range among Honda’s electric scooters currently available in the market.

Charging performance is also expected to receive a significant upgrade. Honda is said to be equipping the QC3 with a battery that can be charged from zero to 80 percent in around two hours and 40 minutes. A full charge is expected to take nearly four hours, making it suitable for both daily commuting and longer city rides.

The upcoming scooter is also expected to focus heavily on technology and rider convenience. It is likely to feature a large TFT digital display with Honda RoadSync connectivity, allowing riders to access navigation, smartphone notifications, call alerts, and SMS updates directly on the screen. These additions are expected to deliver a more connected riding experience than the company’s existing electric models.

Honda is also expected to include several convenience features such as a smart key with keyless ignition, a front USB charging port for mobile devices, and a spacious under seat storage compartment. These practical additions are aimed at making the QC3 a strong choice for urban riders who value both comfort and functionality.

The QC3 is expected to sit above Honda’s current electric scooter lineup, which includes the QC1 and the Activa e. The QC1 comes with a 1.5 kWh battery that offers a claimed range of around 80 km and a top speed of 50 kmph. Meanwhile, the Activa e is equipped with dual removable 1.5 kWh battery packs, delivering a combined capacity of 3 kWh and a claimed range of about 102 km.

Compared to both existing models, the QC3 is expected to offer a larger effective riding range, enhanced features, and a more premium overall package. These upgrades could make it an attractive option for buyers seeking a higher performance electric scooter without compromising on everyday usability.

Industry estimates suggest the Honda QC3 could be priced between Rs. 1.20 lakh and Rs. 1.30 lakh. While the company has not officially announced the pricing or launch timeline, the scooter is expected to compete directly with premium electric models from TVS, Ather, and Bajaj. With its focus on range, technology, and rider friendly features, the QC3 could emerge as one of Honda’s most important electric vehicle launches in India.
