Apple Raises Apple Music and Apple One Subscription Prices in India
Apple has increased subscription prices for Apple Music and Apple One in India with revised monthly charges affecting student individual and family plans across its digital services lineup.

Apple users in India will now have to pay more to enjoy the companys music streaming and bundled digital services. The company has revised the prices of Apple Music and Apple One subscription plans, making every available tier more expensive than before. The updated rates are now reflected on Apples India website for Apple Music, while revised Apple One pricing has also surfaced through reports.
The latest revision comes shortly after Apple increased the prices of several MacBook and iPad models in India. The company has attributed the subscription price hike to rising licensing costs, a factor that has also influenced pricing changes in several international markets.
Among the Apple Music plans, the Family subscription has received the biggest increase. The monthly fee has gone up from Rs 179 to Rs 229, an increase of Rs 50. This plan allows subscribers to share their membership with up to five additional family members through Apples Family Sharing feature.
The Individual Apple Music plan has also become costlier. Customers who earlier paid Rs 119 per month will now have to pay Rs 139, reflecting a Rs 20 increase. Meanwhile, the Student plan has seen the smallest revision, with its monthly fee rising from Rs 59 to Rs 69.
The revised Apple Music pricing is as follows
Individual plan now costs Rs 139 per month instead of Rs 119
Family plan now costs Rs 229 per month instead of Rs 179
Student plan now costs Rs 69 per month instead of Rs 59
Apple has also revised the pricing of its Apple One subscription, which bundles multiple Apple services under a single monthly payment. The Individual plan has increased from Rs 175 to Rs 195 per month, while the Family plan has moved from Rs 235 to Rs 295, making it Rs 60 more expensive than before.
Reports also suggest that the Apple One Premier plan has received a price increase, rising from Rs 899 to Rs 995 per month. However, the Premier tier is currently not listed on the official Apple India website, leaving its availability in the Indian market unclear.
The updated Apple One pricing is reported as follows
Individual plan now costs Rs 195 per month instead of Rs 175
Family plan now costs Rs 295 per month instead of Rs 235
Premier plan is reported at Rs 995 per month instead of Rs 899
For existing subscribers, the revised prices mean higher monthly expenses if they wish to continue using Apples entertainment and bundled subscription services. New users signing up for Apple Music or Apple One will also be charged according to the updated pricing. As digital subscription costs continue to rise across the industry, consumers may increasingly compare streaming platforms before choosing a long term service.
