Acer has introduced its new smartphone featuring a unique rear display, powerful battery, AI camera system, and modern specifications aimed at users seeking extra features.

Acer, a company widely known for its laptops and computing products, has entered the smartphone market with its latest device, the Acer Sospiro A15. The new smartphone comes with a unique dual display design, including a secondary screen on the rear panel, making it stand out from traditional smartphones.
The Acer Sospiro A15 has been officially listed on the company’s website and has been introduced in the US market. The company has not yet revealed the complete pricing details, but the smartphone is expected to get more details soon. It will be available in Orange and Blue colour options.
One of the biggest highlights of the Acer Sospiro A15 is its rear display. The smartphone features a 1.88 inch TFT display on the back, which can be used for checking notifications, controlling music playback, and acting as a viewfinder while capturing selfies using the main rear camera. This feature allows users to take better quality selfies using the 64 megapixel primary camera.
The smartphone comes with a 6.67 inch HD Plus IPS display on the front. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother animations and scrolling. The display features a waterdrop notch design, giving the phone a modern appearance.
For performance, Acer has equipped the Sospiro A15 with the Unisoc T615 chipset. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports up to 14GB of virtual RAM, helping improve multitasking performance. Users can expand storage up to 1TB through a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 16 out of the box.
In terms of photography, the Acer Sospiro A15 features a 64 megapixel AI powered rear camera. The primary sensor is supported by an additional secondary camera and LED flash. The AI camera features are designed to improve image quality in different shooting conditions. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone includes a 16 megapixel front facing camera.
Battery performance is another important feature of the device. The Acer Sospiro A15 packs a 5000mAh battery that is designed to provide extended usage throughout the day. It also supports 18W fast charging, allowing users to recharge the device more quickly.
The smartphone includes several connectivity options such as Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, VoLTE, ViLTE, FM radio, USB Type C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For added protection, the device comes with an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes.
Security features include a side mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. While the absence of 5G connectivity may disappoint some users, the dual display setup, large battery, and camera features make the Acer Sospiro A15 an interesting addition to the budget smartphone segment.
