Meer Alam Tank Development: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a surprise visit to Meer Alam Tank on Thursday morning to review the ongoing development works around the water body.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete the projects within the stipulated timeframe. He also stressed the need to prevent sewage from entering the tank and maintain the water body properly.

The Chief Minister asked officials to prepare suitable designs for introducing water sports at the tank. He also proposed developing the existing island in the middle of the water body as an attraction for visitors.

Revanth Reddy said the area should be developed in a way that encourages tourism and gives visitors more recreational options. Officials were instructed to incorporate these suggestions while taking forward the ongoing development works.
