Kavitha at Wedding: Kavitha Performs Wedding Rituals as Family Daughter
Telangana Rakshana Sena president Kavitha took part in a traditional wedding ceremony in Medchal Malkajgiri after a party leader invited her to perform rituals as his family daughter.
Kavitha at Wedding: Telangana Rakshana Sena president Kavitha took part in the wedding ceremony of party leader Balaprasad and Shivani in Cheeriyal, under Keesara limits of Medchal Malkajgiri district.
Balaprasad had requested Kavitha to attend the wedding and perform the ceremony as a daughter of his family. Respecting the request, she participated in the traditional rituals and blessed the couple.
As part of the community’s wedding customs, the bride’s female relative performs three ceremonial knots with a turmeric stem before the groom ties the wedding thread. Kavitha followed the tradition after participating in the Gauri Puja.
She then tied three knots around Shivani’s neck using the turmeric thread and performed the customary rituals. Kavitha also offered Odi biyyam and blessed the bride as part of the wedding ceremony.
The event was held at a function hall in Cheeriyal, where family members, relatives and party supporters attended the celebrations.
