Gold and Silver Prices See Minor Dip as Market Sentiment Improves

Gold and silver prices recorded only slight changes on August 3 as easing geopolitical tensions and improving market confidence supported stability while investors closely monitored global economic developments and demand.

Gold and silver prices continued to witness only marginal movement on August 3, extending the recent trend of stability in the precious metals market. After weeks of noticeable fluctuations, prices have largely remained within a narrow range, offering some relief to buyers and investors.

Market experts say the improvement in global sentiment has played a key role in keeping prices steady. Reduced tensions between the United States and Iran have eased concerns over oil supply disruptions and inflation. As confidence returned to financial markets, investors gradually resumed gold purchases, helping the metal maintain stable levels.

Since the end of June, international gold prices have been trading close to 4,000 dollars per ounce. Analysts consider this level a strong support zone, despite the metal remaining well below its earlier record high. Gold had previously surged to nearly 5,600 dollars per ounce before correcting by more than 20 percent.

In the domestic market, gold prices have been moving between Rs 1.42 lakh and Rs 1.44 lakh per tola over the past several days. On August 3, prices slipped only slightly, indicating that the market continues to trade within a limited range without any major swings.

Silver prices have also remained relatively stable. Although there were minor declines in the latest trading session, the metal is still trading significantly lower than the peak levels seen earlier, making it more affordable compared with previous months.

Traders are now closely watching global economic indicators, inflation trends, and geopolitical developments, as these factors are expected to influence the direction of gold and silver prices in the coming weeks.
