TVS Unveils Apache RR 200 Mini Racing Bike for Young Riders
TVS Racing has introduced the Apache RR 200 Mini to train children aged 10 to 14 in motorcycle racing through a structured program under safe and controlled conditions.

TVS Racing has introduced the Apache RR 200 Mini, a purpose built racing motorcycle designed to nurture young talent in motorsports. Developed for children between the ages of 10 and 14, the bike will be used as part of the TVS Apache Junior Program, which aims to provide professional racing training in a safe and controlled environment.
The company has already supplied ten Apache RR 200 Mini motorcycles to the Madras Motor Sports Club. Training sessions will be conducted at the Madras International Karting circuit, giving young riders an opportunity to learn racing techniques under expert supervision before progressing to higher levels of competition.
Powering the motorcycle is a specially tuned version of the 197.75 cc engine from the Apache RTR 200 4V. The engine produces 23 PS at 9500 rpm and delivers 20.1 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. It also features a programmable TCI ignition system and a free flow racing exhaust to enhance track performance.
The Apache RR 200 Mini has been engineered with lightweight racing components to improve handling and agility. Weighing only 90 kilograms, the bike can reach a top speed of 110 kilometres per hour. It comes equipped with a 35 millimetre upside down front fork, a race spec rear shock absorber with adjustable rebound, compression and preload settings, along with 220 millimetre front and 180 millimetre rear disc brakes.
Designed specifically for younger riders, the motorcycle features a low seat height of 690 millimetres, making it easier to control. Its aerodynamic bodywork, CNC machined aluminium triple clamp and lightweight aluminium fuel tank further enhance its racing character. TVS said riders who complete the junior training program can progress to the TVS One Make Championship Rookie category after turning 15 and later move into the RR 310 Expert class.
