Toxic Censor Buzz: Will Yash Starrer Toxic Face Censor Hurdles After Jananayagan Controversy
Toxic Censor Buzz: Following the censor controversy surrounding Jananayagan, industry discussions suggest Yash starrer Toxic could also face scrutiny because of its bold visuals and intense action ahead of release.

Toxic Censor Buzz: The upcoming action drama Toxic, starring Yash, has become the latest topic of discussion in the film industry, with speculation growing over whether the movie could encounter challenges during the censor certification process. The conversation follows the controversy surrounding Jananayagan, another high profile production backed by KVN Productions.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26. The recently released glimpse titled Ladies and Ladies generated significant attention for its stylish presentation, high intensity action sequences, and bold visuals. The promotional video also carried a strong viewer advisory, prompting fresh discussions about how the film may be assessed by the Central Board of Film Certification.
Industry observers believe that the film’s action packed content and mature themes could attract closer examination during the certification process. However, no official statement has been issued indicating that Toxic has received objections or faced any censor issues so far.
KVN Productions, led by Venkat K Narayana, previously made headlines after Jananayagan encountered delays during certification. The production house pursued legal remedies before the film eventually received an A certificate from the revising committee. That episode has led to comparisons with Toxic, although the two films are at different stages of release.
Apart from Toxic, KVN Productions is actively developing several major South Indian projects across multiple languages. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see whether Yash’s much anticipated film completes the certification process smoothly and arrives in theatres as scheduled on August 26.
