Retired IAS officer KS Srinivasa Raju has been appointed as the new Telangana RERA Chairman bringing decades of administrative experience after the resignation of the previous chairman.

Telangana Gets New RERA Chief: The Telangana government has appointed retired IAS officer KS Srinivasa Raju as the new Chairman of the Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority. The appointment follows the resignation of former chairman N Satyanarayana, who stepped down from the position citing personal reasons.

Known for his long administrative career, Srinivasa Raju has served in several key positions in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh as well as Telangana. His experience across multiple departments made him one of the senior bureaucrats in the state administration.

One of the most notable phases of his career was his tenure as Joint Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, where he handled several important administrative responsibilities. After that assignment, he served as Secretary of the Tourism and Culture Department in Telangana and earned recognition for his efficient administration.

Following his retirement from the Indian Administrative Service, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy appointed him as his Principal Secretary last year. With his latest appointment as Telangana RERA Chairman, Srinivasa Raju takes charge of one of the state’s most significant regulatory institutions overseeing the real estate sector.

The government expects his administrative expertise and governance experience to strengthen the functioning of Telangana RERA and support greater transparency and accountability in the real estate sector.
