Telangana Man Dies in Dubai: A Telangana worker who travelled to Dubai seeking employment died after a road accident while the NRI Advisory Committee assured support to his grieving family.

Telangana Man Dies in Dubai: A tragic road accident in Dubai has claimed the life of a 38 year old man from Telangana’s Nirmal district, leaving his family devastated and facing an uncertain future. The victim, Laggam Jagadish from Vaikunthapur village, had travelled abroad in search of employment opportunities to support his family’s growing financial needs.

Jagadish was working near an Arabic poultry farm when he met with an accident on June 16. Despite receiving medical treatment, he succumbed to his injuries two days later. His death has left behind his wife Kavitha, two children and his elderly mother.

According to family members, Jagadish had earlier worked in both Dubai and Saudi Arabia before returning to India. After spending some time as an agricultural labourer, he reportedly decided to seek work overseas once again due to increasing household expenses, including educational costs for his children and commitments related to the construction of his Indiramma house.

The family has alleged that the company associated with his employment has not provided adequate assistance following the tragedy. Kavitha stated that bringing Jagadish’s body back to India could cost nearly Rs 3 lakh, creating an additional burden for the family during an already difficult period.

In response to the situation, the Telangana NRI Advisory Committee extended support to the bereaved family. Committee member Swadesh Parikipandla visited the family and assured them that efforts would be made to provide the necessary assistance.

The incident has once again highlighted the challenges faced by migrant workers and their families, many of whom travel abroad seeking better livelihoods while carrying significant financial responsibilities back home.

Authorities and community representatives are expected to coordinate efforts to facilitate the repatriation process and provide relief to the family during this difficult time.
