Siddipet Child Murder: Mother Arrested in Siddipet After Allegedly Killing Two Year Old Son With Lover

Siddipet Child Murder: A horrifying case that has stunned residents has emerged from Siddipet district, where a woman was arrested for allegedly killing her two year old son with the help of her lover. The incident came to light nearly three weeks after the child’s death, triggering outrage and disbelief among locals.

Police said the accused, Jyothi, was living with her husband Swamy and their two children in Keesara of Medchal district. Swamy worked as a cab driver and was often away from home due to his job responsibilities. Investigators revealed that Jyothi was allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship with a man identified as Naveen from Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.

According to the investigation, Naveen visited Jyothi’s residence on May 29 while her husband was at work. During their meeting, the couple reportedly became irritated when the two year old boy, Harikrishna, started crying continuously. Police allege that the child was then assaulted, resulting in severe head injuries that caused his death.

After the incident, Jyothi allegedly informed her husband that the boy had died due to sudden health complications. Believing her account, family members proceeded with the funeral without suspecting any foul play.

However, as days passed, Swamy reportedly became suspicious of his wife’s behavior and questioned her in the presence of relatives. Under pressure from family members, Jyothi allegedly confessed to her involvement in the child’s death, leading to a police complaint.

Following the complaint, investigators reopened the case and exhumed the child’s body for a fresh postmortem examination. The findings prompted authorities to register a murder case and take Jyothi into custody.

Police officials confirmed that the accused woman has been arrested, while efforts are continuing to trace Naveen, who is currently absconding. The case has drawn widespread attention due to the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of the young child and the allegations made during the investigation.
