Kavitha on Singareni Safety Issues: TRS Telangana Rakshana Sena president Kalvakuntla Kavitha launched a strong attack on the Congress government, alleging that Singareni workers are being forced to work without access to quality machinery. She expressed concern over the safety of coal mine employees and said the government has failed to give adequate attention to their welfare.
Speaking on issues affecting Singareni workers, Kavitha stated that employees who risk their lives every day in coal mines deserve better safety measures and reliable equipment. She demanded that the Congress government immediately implement all commitments made to Singareni workers during the election campaign.
Kavitha also criticized the attitude of local minister Sridhar Babu, accusing him of creating obstacles during visits to Singareni areas. According to her, efforts to highlight workers’ problems are being hindered, preventing important issues from reaching the government’s attention.
Her remarks gained further political significance after she made comments regarding former minister T Harish Rao. Kavitha claimed that Harish Rao has been playing a role in protecting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, a statement that sparked discussion across political circles.
The allegations related to worker safety, mining equipment quality, and political interference have now become a major topic of debate, drawing attention to the challenges faced by Singareni employees and the government’s response to their concerns.
