Shabbir Ali Denies Viral Audio Allegations: Senior Telangana Congress leader Shabbir Ali has reacted strongly after receiving a show cause notice from the All India Congress Committee over a viral audio clip that sparked controversy in political circles. The audio, which allegedly contained objectionable remarks against women, spread widely on social media and prompted the party leadership to initiate disciplinary proceedings.
Responding to the developments, Shabbir Ali firmly denied any connection to the audio recording. He stated that the voice heard in the clip was not his and described the entire episode as a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation and political standing. According to him, certain individuals have been working with a clear agenda to tarnish the image he has built over several decades in public life.
The Congress veteran said he had already approached the police and filed an official complaint seeking action against those responsible for creating and circulating the alleged fake audio. He urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and take strict measures against those involved.
Shabbir Ali also spoke about his relationship with Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud. He said Mahesh Kumar Goud was like a brother to him and alleged that some people were trying to create divisions between them to weaken the party.
Emphasizing his commitment to Congress discipline, Shabbir Ali said he has never engaged in activities that could harm the party. He added that he would soon submit a detailed explanation to the AICC, presenting all facts related to the controversy and clarifying his position before the party leadership.
