Second Phase Indiramma Houses Promise for Eligible Families in Telangana
Telangana government plans 3500 Indiramma houses in every constituency while giving priority to poor families, disabled persons and journalists during the second phase housing allocation process.

The Telangana government has announced that the second phase of Indiramma Houses will cover all remaining eligible beneficiaries across the state. Minister Sridhar Babu said the government is committed to helping poor families achieve the dream of owning a house and assured that transparent allotments will continue in the upcoming phase.
Speaking at a house patta distribution programme held at the Kaitlapur double bedroom housing complex in Hyderabad’s Moosapet area, the minister distributed house ownership documents to 62 beneficiaries from Amarnagar. He stated that the government has already completed the first phase allocations in several areas and many beneficiaries have entered their new homes.
Sridhar Babu revealed that the state government has fixed a target of constructing 3500 Indiramma houses in every constituency. Along with housing construction, the government is also focusing on providing proper infrastructure and better living conditions for residents in these housing colonies.
The minister further said that priority in the remaining house allotments at Kaitlapur would be given to local poor families, disabled persons and journalists. He assured that no deserving beneficiary would be left out and allocations would be made in a fair and transparent manner.
Highlighting the government’s larger development plans, Sridhar Babu said efforts are underway to transform Hyderabad into an international standard global city. He explained that the government is preparing a detailed action plan to improve drinking water supply and modernise drainage systems to meet the needs of the city’s growing population.
Government Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy also attended the programme and appealed to all sections to work together for the development of Kukatpally constituency beyond political differences. Officials, public representatives and beneficiaries participated in the event and thanked the government for supporting housing for poor families.
