Corporate foundations have pledged nearly Rs 100 crore to strengthen government schools around Hyderabad through infrastructure development, creating better learning spaces from pre primary education to intermediate level.

Government schools around Hyderabad are set to undergo a major transformation as several corporate organizations have stepped forward to support educational development through large scale infrastructure projects. With investments nearing Rs 100 crore, the initiative aims to improve facilities from pre primary classes to intermediate education.
The agreements were finalized in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who appreciated the efforts of private organizations for joining hands with the government to strengthen the education system. The support is being provided under Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives with a focus on improving school buildings and learning environments.
The Raheja Group, Ramky Foundation, and Yashoda Foundation have committed funds for multiple projects across districts. Their contributions will be used for the construction of new campuses, classrooms, and other essential facilities that can create a stronger foundation for students studying in government institutions.
The Raheja Group has committed Rs 50.50 crore for developing educational infrastructure in Kondapur of Rangareddy district. The project will include classroom construction from pre primary to intermediate levels and is expected to significantly improve educational facilities in the area.
Ramky Foundation has also taken up two important projects. The organization will contribute Rs 19.66 crore toward the development of a new educational campus in Jawaharnagar of Medchal Malkajgiri district. In another project, the foundation has agreed to spend Rs 10.4 crore for infrastructure expansion at a government school in Thukkuguda, Maheshwaram mandal.
Yashoda Foundation announced that it will provide Rs 12.20 crore under its CSR initiative for classroom construction at a school in Uppal Subhash Nagar. The project will support facilities for pre primary students and additional classrooms for higher grades.
Officials believe these investments could bring visible changes to government schools and create a better academic atmosphere for students. Education department representatives and other senior officials attended the agreement ceremony and expressed confidence that such partnerships will strengthen public education in the state.
