Telangana RTC Deploys 3360 Special Buses for Kaleshwaram Pushkaralu
Telangana RTC announced massive transport arrangements for Kaleshwaram Pushkaralu with thousands of special bus trips while continuing free travel facility for women passengers under Mahalakshmi scheme.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has made extensive travel arrangements for devotees attending the Saraswati Anthya Pushkaralu at Kaleshwaram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. The religious event will be held from May twenty one to June one near the sacred confluence of the Godavari Pranahita and Saraswati rivers.
Officials announced that nearly three thousand three hundred sixty special buses will operate across the state to handle the expected rush of pilgrims. Through these buses, RTC plans to run a total of five thousand seven hundred seventy two special trips from major cities and district headquarters to Kaleshwaram.
The transport department said the arrangements were planned to ensure devotees do not face travel difficulties during the Pushkaralu period. RTC Regional Manager S Bhavani Prasad shared the details while reviewing preparations for the large scale event.
Special direct buses will operate from important depots in the combined Warangal region including Hanamkonda Warangal One Warangal Two Parkal Narsampet Jangaon Bhupalpally Torrur and Mahabubabad. Additional buses will also be deployed from Hanamkonda bus station depending on passenger demand.
To avoid congestion and improve passenger convenience near the temple town, district authorities allotted around four point three six acres of land for a temporary bus station. RTC officials are setting up facilities including drinking water toilets rest areas and uninterrupted power supply for devotees.
Authorities also arranged special monitoring systems for crowd management and emergency response. Mobile two wheelers will be available for field supervision while RTC volunteers will assist passengers with bus timings directions and transport information.
Officials confirmed that passengers traveling in these special buses will have to pay fifty percent higher fares compared to regular ticket prices because of operational expenses during the festival season. However, women passengers traveling under the Telangana government Mahalakshmi scheme will continue receiving free bus travel even in these special Pushkaralu services.
RTC officials urged devotees to plan their journeys in advance and make use of the special transport facilities arranged for the spiritual gathering at Kaleshwaram.
