Madhapur Crime: A 23 year old woman from Visakhapatnam was found dead after she was taken to a private hospital from a hotel in Madhapur, Hyderabad. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

According to preliminary police information, the woman, identified as Sharon Nikhitha Topno, had come to Hyderabad with her boyfriend Srinivasa Raviteja. The two reportedly checked into a hotel on Road Number 5 in Siddiq Nagar, Madhapur, at around 2 pm on Monday.

The matter came to light early Tuesday morning when a private hospital in Kondapur alerted Madhapur police. The woman had reportedly been brought to the hospital by her boyfriend along with hotel staff for emergency medical treatment. Doctors examined her and declared that she had already died.

Police reached the hospital soon after receiving the information and examined the woman’s body. Investigators reportedly noticed serious injuries and swelling on her face and head, raising questions about how she died.

The situation took another turn when her boyfriend allegedly left the hospital before police could question him. Officers have since launched a search to trace him and establish what happened inside the hotel room.

Investigators also inspected the hotel room where the couple had stayed. Blood stains were reportedly found on the walls and bedsheet. A clues team was called to the location to collect and examine possible evidence that could help investigators reconstruct the events.

The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a postmortem examination. The medical report is expected to provide further information about the nature of the injuries and the possible cause of death.
