Kishan Reddy Reviews Vikarabad Railway Station Upgrade

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy inspected the ongoing redevelopment work at Vikarabad railway station on Sunday and reviewed the progress of the project.

The station is being upgraded as part of a broader effort to strengthen railway infrastructure across Telangana. The redevelopment aims to provide passengers with modern facilities and a more comfortable travel experience.

Kishan Reddy visited the site along with Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and examined the work being carried out at different parts of the station. He directed officials to complete the project within the scheduled timeline and ensure that the planned facilities are delivered as promised.

The Vikarabad railway station redevelopment is being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 27 crore. The project is expected to bring significant changes to the station and improve facilities for passengers using the railway network.

Kishan Reddy also said that development work is being taken up at 42 railway stations across Telangana. He indicated that the projects are expected to make substantial progress and be completed by the end of this year.

The redevelopment of Vikarabad station is expected to improve the overall passenger experience while adding better infrastructure to an important railway location in the region.
