Hyderabad’s premium real estate market has reached another milestone as a Raidurgam government land auction fetched a record price, generating over Rs 1,447 crore in revenue.
Raidurgam Land Auction: Raidurgam has once again made headlines in Hyderabad’s property market, with a government land parcel fetching an exceptionally high price at an online auction.
The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) put 5.38 acres in Survey No. 83/1 up for sale. The auction started with a base price of Rs 175 crore per acre, but competition between bidders pushed the final quote considerably higher.
Vamsiram Builders secured the land with a bid of Rs 269 crore per acre. The total value of the 5.38 acre parcel works out to around Rs 1,447.22 crore, making it a major revenue-generating transaction for the state.
The result has also set a new benchmark in the area. Just a week ago, another TGIIC auction in Raidurgam had recorded Rs 264 crore per acre. The latest bid has now gone Rs 5 crore above that figure.
The price is being seen as another indication of the demand for land in Hyderabad’s western business corridor. Raidurgam sits close to HITEC City, Gachibowli, the Financial District and Knowledge City, making it a preferred location for commercial developments.
The area has attracted technology companies, multinational firms and Global Capability Centres in recent years. Its connectivity to key business districts and existing infrastructure has also made the surrounding land particularly attractive to developers.
Recent government auctions in and around the IT corridor have drawn strong participation from property companies. The latest Raidurgam sale adds to that trend, showing that developers remain willing to pay a premium for land in locations with established commercial potential.
For Hyderabad’s real estate market, the latest transaction is significant not just because of the total amount involved, but also because the previous record was surpassed within a matter of days. Raidurgam’s latest auction has once again put the locality at the centre of attention in the city’s high-value property market.
