Samsung Galaxy M47 5G Price Announced With Six Years of Software Support and Premium Features

Samsung has officially announced the pricing of its newly launched Galaxy M47 5G for the Indian market after initially unveiling the smartphone without revealing its cost. Positioned in the midrange segment, the device combines long term software support with premium hardware features aimed at users seeking durability and performance.

One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy M47 5G is Samsung’s commitment to six years of Android operating system upgrades and six years of security updates. This extended support is expected to keep the smartphone updated with new features and security improvements for several years, making it an attractive choice for users planning to keep their device for a long time.

The smartphone features a 6.7 inch Full HD Plus Super AMOLED Infinity O display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The screen supports up to 1400 nits of peak brightness, ensuring good visibility even under bright sunlight. Samsung has also included Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection to improve resistance against scratches and accidental drops.

Powering the Galaxy M47 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with the Adreno 710 GPU. The phone is available with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of 128GB and 256GB using UFS 3.1 technology. Users who require additional space can expand the storage by up to 2TB through a microSD card.

Photography is handled by a triple rear camera system led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation. The setup also includes an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 2 megapixel macro lens. On the front, the smartphone features a 12 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, while the OIS support is designed to improve image quality and video stability, especially in low light conditions.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy M47 5G in three storage variants. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 25999, while the 8GB RAM with 128GB version costs Rs 28999. The top end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for Rs 33999.

As part of the launch offers, customers can receive a discount of up to Rs 3000 through eligible bank offers and promotional coupons, bringing the effective starting price down to Rs 22999. The smartphone is available in Rogue Red and Blaze Blue colour options, with sales scheduled to begin on July 4 during the Amazon Prime Day sale.
