Asus Pad T3201 Set for India Launch With 9000 mAh Battery and OLED Display

Asus will launch the Pad T3201 in India next month featuring a large OLED display powerful MediaTek processor fast charging support premium speakers and expandable storage options for users.

Asus is preparing to expand its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the new Asus Pad T3201. The company has confirmed that the device will debut on August 6 and is expected to target users looking for a premium entertainment and productivity experience. While the official pricing has not yet been announced, the tablet will be available through the Asus online store, Flipkart, Reliance Digital outlets and authorised retail stores across the country.

The upcoming tablet will feature a 12.2 inch dual layer OLED display with a 2.8K resolution of 2800 x 1840 pixels. The screen supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, delivers peak brightness of up to 2000 nits and covers 100 percent of the DCI P3 colour gamut. Asus has also included TÜV certified Low Blue Light and Low Flicker technologies to help reduce eye strain during extended use.

Powering the Asus Pad T3201 is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, which is designed to handle multitasking, gaming and everyday performance efficiently. The tablet will offer up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Users who need additional space will be able to expand the storage through a microSD card by up to 1 TB.

The tablet also focuses on multimedia performance. It comes equipped with a quad speaker system featuring Dolby Atmos cinematic sound, offering an immersive audio experience for movies, games and music. For photography and video calls, the device includes a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Battery life is expected to be one of the key highlights of the new tablet. Asus has packed a 9000 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging. According to the company, the battery can be charged from zero to 50 percent in approximately 30 minutes, allowing users to get back to work or entertainment with minimal downtime.

The Asus Pad T3201 measures just 6.5 mm in thickness and weighs around 523 grams, making it relatively slim and easy to carry despite its large display. For connectivity, the tablet includes Bluetooth and Wi Fi support, ensuring compatibility with wireless accessories and high speed internet connections.

The launch of the Pad T3201 follows Asus recent expansion of its product portfolio in India. The company recently introduced the Dawn 7 Pro laptop series in 14 inch and 16 inch variants. Those laptops feature AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processors, Radeon 840M graphics, WQXGA IPS displays and Windows 11, along with an advanced cooling system designed for sustained performance.

With a high refresh rate OLED display, capable processor, long lasting battery and premium audio features, the Asus Pad T3201 is expected to appeal to students, professionals and entertainment enthusiasts looking for a feature rich Android tablet in the Indian market.
