Google Pixel Watch 5 Expected to Debut With 3GB RAM and Smarter AI Features
Google is expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 5 with more memory, Wear OS 7, Gemini powered AI features, improved health tracking, and a refined smartwatch experience later this month.

Google is preparing to expand its wearable lineup with the launch of the Pixel Watch 5, which is expected to make its official debut during the upcoming Made by Google event. Ahead of the announcement, the smartwatch has reportedly appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing several key specifications and generating excitement among technology enthusiasts.
One of the most notable upgrades is the increase in memory. Reports suggest the Pixel Watch 5 will feature 3GB of RAM, a significant improvement over the 2GB RAM available in the previous Pixel Watch 4. The additional memory is expected to enhance overall responsiveness while allowing Gemini powered AI features and other on device tasks to run more smoothly without noticeable lag.
While Google appears to be focusing on software and memory improvements, the processor is expected to remain unchanged. The Pixel Watch 5 is likely to continue using the Qualcomm SW5100 chipset, featuring a quad core CPU and an Adreno 702 GPU. Although the hardware platform may be familiar, software optimizations are expected to deliver a faster and more refined user experience.
The smartwatch is also expected to arrive with the latest Wear OS 7 operating system. The updated software is likely to introduce a refreshed interface, better performance, and enhanced compatibility with Google’s growing AI ecosystem. Users can also expect improvements in everyday smartwatch functions, making navigation and app usage more seamless.
Health and fitness features are expected to receive considerable attention in the new model. Google is reportedly introducing an updated health application that will provide more comprehensive fitness tracking and wellness insights. Combined with Gemini based AI capabilities, the watch could offer smarter recommendations and a more personalized experience for users focused on maintaining an active lifestyle.
In terms of design, the Pixel Watch 5 is expected to retain a look similar to its predecessor. Rather than making dramatic cosmetic changes, Google appears to be concentrating on improving performance, software capabilities, and day to day usability. This approach could appeal to existing Pixel Watch users looking for meaningful internal upgrades without a complete redesign.
Industry reports suggest the 41 mm base variant of the Pixel Watch 5 could be priced at around Rs. 46,000. Google is expected to unveil the smartwatch alongside the Pixel 11 smartphone series during its event on August 12. If the reported timeline remains unchanged, sales could begin from August 20 in select markets.
With increased RAM, advanced AI integration, the latest Wear OS platform, and improved health tracking features, the Pixel Watch 5 is shaping up to be one of Google’s most capable smartwatches yet. Although the company has not officially confirmed the specifications or pricing, anticipation continues to build as the expected launch date draws closer.
