Lava Launches Virat V1 Series With Big Battery and Clean Android Experience

Lava has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Virat V1 series, introducing two budget friendly models aimed at students, first time smartphone buyers, and young professionals. The lineup includes the Lava Virat V1 5G and the Lava Virat V1, both offering large displays, long lasting batteries, and a clean Android experience without unwanted apps or advertisements.

One of the biggest highlights of the new series is Lava’s focus on delivering a clutter free user experience. The company says both smartphones come without preinstalled bloatware or intrusive advertisements, allowing users to enjoy a smoother interface from the moment they power on the device. Along with this, Lava is also offering its Free Service at Home support to enhance the ownership experience.

The premium model in the lineup, the Lava Virat V1 5G, features a 6.75 inch HD Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling and improved visual performance. It is powered by the UNISOC T8200 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM along with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM for better multitasking. The smartphone includes 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

For photography, the Virat V1 5G is equipped with a 13MP AI dual rear camera system and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Lava has also introduced the standard Virat V1 for buyers looking for an even more affordable option. It comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and support for expandable storage up to 1TB through a microSD card.

The Lava Virat V1 runs on Android 15 Go Edition, making it suitable for users who prefer a lightweight operating system on entry level hardware. The phone also includes a 13MP dual rear camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, a 5000mAh battery, and an IP64 rating for added protection against dust and water splashes.

Lava has announced attractive introductory pricing for both smartphones. The Lava Virat V1 5G is available in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold color options. It carries a regular price of Rs. 12999 but will be offered at a special launch price of Rs. 11999. Meanwhile, the Lava Virat V1 comes in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver, with a standard price of Rs. 9999 and a launch offer price of Rs. 8999.

The launch offers will be valid on July 31, when both smartphones will go on sale from 12 noon through Flipkart and Lava’s official website.
