Motorola is gearing up to strengthen its tablet lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Moto Pad 70. The company has officially confirmed that the new tablet will arrive on August 9, while several key specifications have already surfaced ahead of its debut. Designed to handle productivity, entertainment, online learning and creative tasks, the Moto Pad 70 is expected to offer a premium experience in the mid range tablet segment.
One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming tablet is expected to be its large 12.1 inch 2.5K display. Reports suggest the screen will support up to 800 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode along with a 96 percent color gamut, making it suitable for streaming videos, reading, gaming and professional work. The larger display is also expected to improve multitasking and note taking.
Performance is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. Motorola may offer the tablet in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, while users are expected to have the option to expand storage up to 2TB through a microSD card. This combination should provide enough power for everyday tasks as well as demanding applications.
Battery life is another area where the Moto Pad 70 is expected to stand out. According to leaks, the tablet could feature a massive 10200mAh battery supported by 68W TurboPower fast charging. This setup is expected to deliver long usage hours for work, online classes, gaming and entertainment with reduced charging time.
Motorola is also expected to include the Moto Pen with the tablet. The stylus is likely to make writing notes, sketching, editing documents and drawing much more convenient, making the device appealing to students, professionals and creative users alike.
The camera setup is expected to include a 13 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash for document scanning and casual photography. On the front, an 8 megapixel camera is likely to be available for video calls, online meetings and selfies.
In terms of design, leaked images indicate that the Moto Pad 70 may feature slightly thick display bezels along with a USB Type C port and integrated speaker grilles. The design appears to focus on practicality while offering a comfortable grip during extended use.
Motorola has confirmed that the Moto Pad 70 will be introduced in India on August 9 and will be available through Flipkart. Industry reports suggest the tablet could be priced between ₹22000 and ₹29000, placing it in the competitive premium mid range category.
