SanDisk Unveils Compact CZB Series USB C Flash Drives With Fast Transfer Speeds

SanDisk introduces lightweight CZB Series USB C flash drives offering compact design fast data transfers multiple storage options broad device compatibility and reliable performance for everyday digital storage

SanDisk has introduced its latest CZB Series USB C flash drives, expanding its storage portfolio as more laptops, smartphones, and tablets move away from traditional USB A ports. The new drives have been launched in the United States and China, with a wider global rollout expected in the coming months. The company is also likely to bring the new storage devices to India in the future.

Designed with portability in mind, the CZB Series features an ultra compact form factor that makes it easy to carry anywhere. Each drive measures less than two inches in length and weighs only six grams, allowing users to keep it comfortably in a pocket, backpack, or on a keychain. SanDisk has also included a built in loop, making it convenient to attach the drive to keys or bags for quick access.

The new flash drives support USB 3.2 Gen 1 technology, providing a maximum bandwidth of 5Gbps. According to the company, the drives can deliver sequential read speeds of up to 250MB per second, making them suitable for quickly transferring documents, photos, videos, and other everyday files between compatible devices.

SanDisk has designed the CZB Series for broad compatibility across multiple platforms. The drives work with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android devices equipped with USB C ports, allowing users to move files between computers, tablets, and smartphones without requiring additional adapters.

While the transfer speeds are more than sufficient for regular file storage and backups, these drives are primarily intended for everyday use rather than demanding professional workloads. Users who frequently edit large video files directly from external storage may require higher performance storage solutions designed for intensive creative tasks.

The CZB Series is currently available in three storage capacities. The 64GB model is priced at 20 dollars, while the 128GB version costs 25 dollars. Customers looking for additional storage can choose the 256GB variant, which is available for 43 dollars. SanDisk is also offering a three year warranty across all three models, adding extra confidence for buyers.

With USB C becoming the standard connector across modern devices, SanDisk’s latest flash drives are positioned as a practical storage solution for users who need portability and dependable performance. Their lightweight construction, compact size, reliable transfer speeds, and cross platform compatibility make them an attractive choice for students, professionals, and everyday users.

Although the CZB Series has initially launched only in the United States and China, SanDisk plans to expand availability to additional markets including Canada, Europe, and several Asian countries. If introduced in India, these compact USB C flash drives are expected to appeal to consumers looking for convenient and modern portable storage solutions compatible with the latest generation of devices.
