Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Gets Massive Price Cut as New Galaxy Z Fold 8 Arrives
Premium foldable smartphone now available at a huge discount as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 receives major price cuts with extra bank offers and exchange benefits for buyers.

Samsung’s launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 in India has also brought good news for buyers looking for a premium foldable smartphone at a lower price. The previous generation Galaxy Z Fold 4 is now available on Amazon at a substantial discount, making it an attractive option for users who want flagship features without paying the latest premium price.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 was originally introduced in India at a starting price of Rs 154999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Now, the same Graygreen model is listed on Amazon for Rs 86999 without any special sale event, offering a direct discount of nearly Rs 68000 from its launch price.
Buyers can further reduce the cost by taking advantage of available bank offers. Eligible customers can receive an instant discount of up to Rs 3000 through select payment methods. With the full bank benefit applied, the effective price comes down to Rs 83999, resulting in total savings of around Rs 71000 compared with the original launch price.
In addition to the bank discount, Amazon is also offering an exchange bonus of up to Rs 36100 for customers trading in an eligible smartphone. The final exchange value depends on the condition and model of the old device, allowing some buyers to reduce the purchase price even further.
Despite being an older flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 continues to offer premium hardware. It features a 6.2 inch outer display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a 7.6 inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with QXGA Plus resolution and support for refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The foldable design remains one of its biggest attractions for users seeking a tablet like experience in a smartphone.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB of RAM. It packs a 4400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support and a USB Type C port.
Photography is handled by a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 12 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 10 megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone comes with a 10 megapixel front camera.
Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in India with a starting price of Rs 179999 for the 12GB and 256GB variant. The 12GB and 512GB model is priced at Rs 199999, while the top end 16GB and 1TB version costs Rs 239999. The new foldable is currently available for pre orders and is scheduled to go on sale from August 8.
Samsung is also offering several launch benefits for Galaxy Z Fold 8 buyers, including an upgrade bonus of Rs 10000 or instant bank or UPI cashback of up to Rs 9000. Customers can also choose from no cost EMI options through participating banks and financial partners, along with Samsung Care Plus protection plans and the Galaxy Forever programme that provides accidental damage protection and an assured buyback value for eligible buyers.
For consumers who want a premium foldable smartphone without spending on the latest model, the discounted Galaxy Z Fold 4 presents a compelling alternative, especially with the additional savings available through bank and exchange offers.
