Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Film Ranabali May Miss September Release
The makers of Ranabali are reportedly considering a revised release schedule as filming and post production work continue on the ambitious historical action drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.

Fans eagerly waiting for Ranabali may have to wait a little longer, as the much anticipated period action drama is reportedly unlikely to arrive on its originally planned release date.
The film, featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on September 11. However, industry reports suggest that the production team is evaluating a new release window because filming and post production work have not yet been completed.
Sources close to the project indicate that the makers are giving priority to the overall quality of the film, particularly its large scale action sequences and visual effects. Rather than rushing the release, the team is said to be focusing on delivering the best possible cinematic experience.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabali is set against the backdrop of nineteenth century Rayalaseema during British rule. The story explores the hardships faced by people during a devastating famine and the resistance against colonial oppression through the journey of a courageous warrior.
Vijay Deverakonda plays the central character Ranabali, while Rashmika Mandanna appears as Jayamma, a powerful and influential character in the story. The film also features Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo in the role of a British officer.
Produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and T Series, the multilingual project is being mounted on a grand scale for audiences across India. Music for the film has been composed by Ajay Atul.
The production house is yet to announce any official change in the release calendar. An updated release date is expected to be revealed after the remaining work on the film reaches completion.
