Google Pixel 11a Leak Reveals Display Battery and Tensor G6 Details Ahead of Expected Launch
A fresh leak suggests the upcoming Google Pixel 11a could feature a brighter 120Hz display Tensor G6 processor larger battery upgraded selfie camera and improved connectivity for midrange buyers.

Google is reportedly preparing its next affordable A series smartphone, and a new leak has revealed several expected specifications well before its official debut. While the company has not confirmed any details, the latest information points to meaningful upgrades in display quality, battery life, performance and connectivity, making the Pixel 11a a device to watch in the midrange segment.
According to the leak, the Pixel 11a is expected to feature a 6.3 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen could also become one of the brightest in the Pixel A lineup, offering up to 2250 nits of HDR brightness and a peak brightness of 3350 nits. If accurate, this would be an improvement over the previous generation and should deliver better visibility in outdoor conditions.
Performance is expected to receive a major boost with the introduction of Google’s upcoming Tensor G6 chipset. Reports suggest this processor could make its debut with the Pixel 11a and will likely be paired with the Titan M3 security chip for enhanced device protection. The smartphone is also expected to include 8GB of RAM, helping it handle multitasking and everyday applications more efficiently.
Another notable change could come in the connectivity department. The leaked information indicates that Google may replace the Samsung Exynos modem used in earlier models with a MediaTek M90 modem. This move is expected to improve network stability, strengthen signal performance and deliver better thermal management during prolonged use.
The camera department may also see an upgrade. The Pixel 11a is tipped to feature a new front facing camera sensor designed to improve selfies and video calls. Although the rear camera specifications remain unknown, Google has built a strong reputation for delivering excellent photography even in its affordable Pixel devices. Many users will be hoping the company continues that trend with the upcoming model.
Battery capacity is also expected to increase. The leaked details suggest the Pixel 11a could house a 4870mAh battery, providing longer usage between charges. Combined with software optimizations and the new processor, the device could offer improved battery efficiency for daily users.
Design wise, the smartphone is expected to arrive in four color options including Obsidian, Olive, Frost and Fog. These choices would give buyers a mix of classic and fresh finishes while maintaining the minimalist Pixel design language.
As for availability, previous reports indicate that Google’s flagship Pixel 11 series may arrive around August 2026, while the more affordable Pixel 11a is expected to launch around March 2027. However, Google has not officially announced a launch date, and all current information is based on leaks and industry speculation.
If these reported specifications prove accurate, the Pixel 11a could offer a compelling combination of premium display technology, improved hardware and Google’s software experience at a more accessible price point. More confirmed details are expected as the anticipated launch window approaches.
