iQOO Compact Tablet Moves Closer to Launch With Flagship Chipset

iQOO appears to be expanding its product lineup beyond smartphones, with a compact performance focused tablet now moving closer to launch. The upcoming device has reportedly received an important certification in China, suggesting that its official debut may not be far away. The tablet is expected to be introduced alongside the iQOO 16 smartphone series during a launch event that could take place in September or October.

The latest development comes after months of speculation surrounding the compact tablet. A device carrying the model number iPA2691 has reportedly been approved by Chinas SRRC certification authority, a step that often signals a product is nearing commercial release. Industry observers believe this certification marks significant progress for the long awaited device.

According to information shared by well known tipsters, the tablet will focus heavily on performance. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomms upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series processor, which is believed to be manufactured using an advanced 2nm process.
