Luxury Ferrari Crashes Into Apartment Gate in Hyderabad Jubilee Hills Occupants Flee Scene

A high end Ferrari Roma crashed into an apartment gate in Hyderabad Jubilee Hills during the early hours of Sunday before the occupants allegedly abandoned the vehicle and fled

A luxury Ferrari Roma was involved in a dramatic road accident in Hyderabad’s upscale Jubilee Hills area early on Sunday, leaving an apartment entrance badly damaged. Police said the people inside the vehicle allegedly fled the scene immediately after the crash.

The accident occurred on Road Number 5 under the Film Nagar Police Station limits. According to officials, the speeding Ferrari lost control and rammed into the main gate of Fort View Apartments with great force. While the apartment gate was completely destroyed, the front portion of the luxury sports car also suffered extensive damage.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. However, the driver and the other occupants reportedly abandoned the vehicle at the spot before police arrived.

After receiving information, police reached the location and began their investigation. Preliminary findings suggest the accident may have been caused by rash driving at high speed, and officials are also examining whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify how many people were travelling in the Ferrari and to trace those who fled. The damaged vehicle, estimated to be worth more than Rs 3.50 crore, was later shifted to the police station using a towing vehicle.

The latest accident comes just days after another high profile crash in Jubilee Hills. On July 9, an SUV rammed into the compound wall of actor Dharma’s residence on Road Number 10. Police had arrested the driver in that case on allegations of drunk driving. The back to back incidents have once again raised concerns over reckless driving in one of Hyderabad’s busiest premium neighbourhoods.
