Mivi One 5G Price Details Surface Ahead of India Launch

Mivi is preparing to enter the Indian smartphone market with its first handset, the Mivi One 5G. The company has confirmed that the device will be launched in India on September 24, while new information has surfaced about its expected price and specifications.

The smartphone is likely to target buyers looking for an affordable 5G device. Although Mivi has not officially announced the final price, the Mivi One 5G is expected to be positioned between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000. This would place the handset in a highly competitive segment where several brands already offer entry level 5G smartphones.

Sales will be handled through Flipkart following the launch. A dedicated microsite for the Mivi One 5G is already live on the ecommerce platform, offering an early look at the phone and some of its design details.

Mivi has confirmed that the new smartphone will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset. The exact processor model has not yet been disclosed by the company. However, an earlier Geekbench listing linked to the device suggested the possibility of a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, along with 6GB of RAM and Android 16.

The Geekbench information should be viewed as an indication rather than final confirmation because Mivi has not officially confirmed all of those specifications. The company has, however, revealed that the phone will come with 128GB of internal storage.

Mivi has yet to announce the complete RAM configuration. More information about the memory options could be revealed during the official launch or in the days leading up to it.

The design of the Mivi One 5G gives the handset a straightforward modern appearance. It will have a flat rear panel with a pill shaped camera module placed towards the upper left corner. The module houses two rear camera sensors along with an LED flash.

The phone will also feature a flat mid frame and a USB Type C port. Mivi is expected to offer the device in three colour choices, Burgundy, Blue and Green. These variants have already been shown through the company’s promotional material and Flipkart microsite.

The upcoming handset marks an important change in Mivi’s product lineup. The company has so far built its name in India through audio products, including earphones, true wireless earbuds and speakers. With the One 5G, it is now attempting to expand beyond audio and compete in the smartphone category.

Entering the smartphone market at the Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 level could allow Mivi to reach a broad group of buyers, particularly those looking for 5G connectivity without moving into higher priced models. The final pricing will be an important detail because the segment includes numerous established smartphone brands.

The September 24 launch will also provide clarity on several details that remain open. These include the exact Snapdragon chipset, RAM options, camera specifications, charging capabilities and the final retail price.

For now, Mivi has confirmed the launch date, Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G platform and 128GB storage, while the expected price range gives an early indication of where the company could position its first smartphone. The Mivi One 5G will be sold through Flipkart after its India debut.
