Trump Alleges Iran Plot: Trump Claims Iran Is Plotting to Kill Him Amid Rising Tensions
Donald Trump claimed Iran considers him its top target while dismissing ongoing diplomatic efforts as military tensions and fresh accusations continue to deepen the crisis between both countries.

Trump Alleges Iran Plot: United States President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran is attempting to assassinate him, describing himself as the country’s number one target. He made the remarks while speaking to reporters during the NATO summit in Ankara, where he strongly criticized the Iranian leadership.
Trump said diplomatic engagement with Iran was no longer producing results and expressed little confidence in future negotiations. He warned that the United States was prepared to respond with additional military action, arguing that Iran had repeatedly violated the existing understanding between the two countries.
While repeating his long standing criticism of Tehran, Trump also remarked that the current Iranian leadership appeared somewhat more practical than previous administrations, though he insisted that decades of hostile policies had remained largely unchanged.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported that eight military personnel were killed in recent United States airstrikes targeting areas including Bandar Abbas and Bushehr. Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused Washington of violating the terms of the ceasefire and condemned the attacks as unilateral military action.
The latest exchange of accusations has further increased tensions between Washington and Tehran, raising concerns that the fragile situation in the region could deteriorate if diplomatic efforts fail to resume.
