Sensex Gains: Sensex and Nifty Open Higher as FII Buying Boosts Market Sentiment

Sensex Gains: Indian equity markets opened on a positive note as foreign investor buying strengthened confidence while easing crude oil prices and improving global sentiment supported early trading activity.

Sensex Gains: Indian stock markets began Tuesday’s trading session on a strong note, with the Sensex and Nifty posting early gains as foreign institutional investors returned as buyers and crude oil prices eased following reduced geopolitical tensions in West Asia.

The BSE Sensex climbed more than 170 points during opening trade, while the NSE Nifty also advanced, reflecting improved investor confidence. Analysts said the combination of falling oil prices and renewed foreign investment has created a favorable environment for domestic equities.

Technology stocks and large cap companies led the rally in the early session. Shares of Titan, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services and Eternal were among the top performers, helping the benchmark indices move higher.

Not all sectors participated in the rally. Trent recorded a sharp decline, while Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Electronics, ITC and Tata Steel also traded in negative territory during the morning session.

According to exchange data, Foreign Institutional Investors purchased Indian equities worth Rs 243.03 crore in the previous trading session. Market experts believe the return of foreign buying is an encouraging sign after a prolonged period of selling pressure.

Brent crude prices also remained close to pre conflict levels, easing concerns over inflation and import costs. Analysts noted that stable oil prices, along with improving market fundamentals, could continue to support investor sentiment in the coming sessions.

While several Asian markets traded lower, Indian equities showed resilience, extending the positive momentum from the previous session when both the Sensex and Nifty closed with solid gains.
