Moto G77 Power Set for India Launch With 7000mAh Battery and 50MP Sony Camera

Motorola has confirmed the Moto G77 Power launch in India on July 8 with a large battery, smooth display, premium audio features, clean Android experience and durable design.

Motorola is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G77 Power. The company has officially confirmed that the new handset will debut on July 8, while its dedicated product page is already live, revealing several key specifications ahead of the launch. The smartphone will be available through Flipkart, Motorola India website and leading offline retail stores.

One of the biggest attractions of the Moto G77 Power is its massive 7000mAh battery, making it an appealing option for users who want extended battery life for gaming, streaming and everyday use. The phone is designed to deliver long lasting performance without frequent charging, catering to people who spend long hours on their devices.

The smartphone features a 6.72 inch Full HD Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and an improved viewing experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass for added durability, while a centered punch hole houses the front camera, giving the device a modern appearance.

Motorola has also focused on photography. Unlike the standard Moto G77, which reportedly features a higher resolution sensor, the Moto G77 Power comes equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary rear camera. It is paired with an 8MP ultra wide lens, allowing users to capture wider scenes with ease. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 32MP front camera.

Audio performance is another highlight of the upcoming device. The Moto G77 Power includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support for an immersive listening experience. It also retains the popular 3.5mm headphone jack and carries Hi Res Audio certification, making it suitable for users who prefer wired headphones without compromising sound quality.

The handset arrives with Android 16 out of the box, running Motorola Hello UI that offers a clean and near stock Android experience. Motorola has already promised an Android 17 update, giving buyers confidence about future software support.

Another useful addition is Smart Connect, Motorola built in ecosystem feature that allows users to connect the smartphone with compatible tablets and Windows PCs. It enables seamless file transfers, app streaming and cross device connectivity, improving productivity for both work and entertainment.

In terms of design, Motorola is introducing what it describes as a premium look with a distinctive square shaped camera module. The phone will be available in multiple color options, including vibrant pink, deep blue and dark gray. It is also built to withstand everyday wear and tear with military grade durability certification.

With its combination of a large battery, capable camera setup, high refresh rate display, clean software and durable construction, the Moto G77 Power is expected to attract buyers looking for a feature packed smartphone in the midrange segment. More details, including pricing and complete specifications, will be announced during the official launch event on July 8.
