VD Satheesan Set to Take Oath as Kerala Chief Minister
Congress leader VD Satheesan will be sworn in as Kerala Chief Minister today in Thiruvananthapuram as top Congress leaders and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attend the ceremony.

Kerala is set to witness a major political transition as senior Congress leader VD Satheesan prepares to take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state today. The swearing in ceremony will take place at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram with grand arrangements made for the public event.
The Congress led United Democratic Front secured a strong victory in the recent Kerala Assembly elections, paving the way for Satheesan to assume the top post. Along with the Chief Minister, around 20 newly elected MLAs are also expected to take oath as ministers and officially begin their responsibilities in the new government.
Several senior Congress leaders and chief ministers from different states are expected to attend the ceremony, turning the event into a major political gathering at the national level. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka have already reached Kerala after travelling from Hyderabad on a special flight.
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and party president Mallikarjun Kharge are also expected to participate in the event. Chief ministers from Congress ruled states including Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh are likely to join the celebrations and extend support to the newly formed Kerala government.
Party leaders have reportedly completed discussions regarding cabinet portfolios and ministerial responsibilities ahead of the oath taking ceremony. Soon after the swearing in, VD Satheesan is expected to hold his first cabinet meeting with the newly appointed ministers.
Congress leaders stated that the new government will focus on implementing election promises, improving employment opportunities, and strengthening economic reforms in Kerala during its initial phase of governance.
